The University of Central Florida is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) to award degrees at the associate, baccalaureate, master’s, specialist, and doctoral levels. SACSCOC reaffirmation of accreditation is on a ten-year schedule. UCF was initially accredited in 1970 and was last reaffirmed in 2016 as a Level VI institution.
All UCF correspondence with SACSCOC must be submitted by the CEO (president) of the university or designee, the UCF SACSCOC liaison. As such, please direct all inquiries regarding matters of UCF’s SACSCOC accreditation to:
